OUR HISTORY

 

Sometime in April, 2012 God appointed the Reverend Harrison B Johnson Jr. to start his own ministry. The reverend was obedient to the will of God. 2 Timothy 2:15 "Study to show thyself approved unto God", this transformed into Bible study being held in the home of Reverend Harrison B. Johnson Jr. on Saturdays at 2p.m. in the summer of 2012. During this time preparations began to open the ministry to the public.

 
Matthew 16:18 "Upon this rock I will build my church", on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2p.m. in the chapel of March Funeral Home - West located at 4300 Wabash Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21215, the Inaugural Worship Service was held. The Word 4 Life Ministries became a fellowship of baptized believers called together as a body to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 

 

1 Corinthians 15:58 " Being steadfast, immovable always abounding in the work of the lord" , on Saturday, October 12, 2013 the Word 4 Life Ministries established their Constitution and Bylaws. 

 

Throughout the years Word 4 Life Ministries has established inter-ministries to serve the community while continuing to honor God. These ministires have provided food, clothing, and spritual guidance to the community.
